The Landscape
Addison Reserve is home to some of the finest golf courses
that the state of Florida has to offer.
First class greens are surrounded by lush landscaping, quarried rock
walls as well as signature waterfalls and fountains to provide players with not
just fantastic golfing opportunities but also the chance to escape in this
serene and uniquely beautiful upscale golfing community.
The Courses
Addison Reserve is golfing heaven for anyone who loves a
round or two. Whatever your ability,
there are courses here to suit. The
three 9-hole courses have been individually created by golf course architect,
Arthur Hills and offer challenging experiences set in a stunning location and
with a backdrop of elegantly appointed golf course homes in a private
community.
Redemption – A private course for
players of varied skill and ability
This shorter length course offers a
chance to win back squandered strokes and to prove your worth as a great
golfer. With bent grass greens and Bermuda grass fairways, the conditions are
just right to show of your skill or improve your handicap. The course features
3,242 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36 and is set within the
stunning surroundings of this unique private club and community.
Trepidation – A real roller coaster of a course
With its soaring elevations, this course starts out slowly
then twists and turns in true roller coaster fashion, to deliver a high-octane
golf experience for players who dare to brave these fantastic fairways. Culminating in an untimely descent on the ninth,
Trepidation will make even the most experienced golfer nervous, as they seek to
finish a round without landing in the watery grave to the right.
Salvation – A golf challenge to the finish
The creek on nine Salvation sets up a classic par-five
finish. Most will play this as a three-shot hole, so the creek fronting the
green will likely need to be avoided twice, on a lay-up and the flip wedge
approach. With plenty of slope challenges, water features and cunning twists
and turns, Salvation is more challenging that its name would suggest.
The Activities
The golf department offers a wide variety of educational
programs including individual lessons golf schools and even a “Build you own clinic”. There are
also both men’s and women’s golf days
and even holiday week long golf schools for children.
The Amenities
Because playing golf is not only about the game, Addison
Reserve offers a host of amenities in their five star private members
club. With peaceful lounges that
overlook the courses, first class cuisine and dining experiences across five different
venues, as well as tennis courts, a fitness centre, and aquatics centre and a
spa - visitors will want for nothing here.
The Pro-Shop
Addison Reserves also has a full-service Golf Centre that’s
offers the latest in fashion, footwear and equipment. They also hold regular
demo days to try out new products and offer an extensive line of demo equipment
for memos to try before they buy. They
have a special-order service for clothing and trunks shows are held periodically
to ensure they are always able to offer their members a great choice of high
quality golf clothing and accessories.
